Azerbaijan – Luxembourg: Coaches opinions
Gianni De Biasi (Azerbaijan national team head coach): "Conceding the first goal we gave a productive pass to the opponent. After the second goal, the balance was lost in the game, it became difficult for us to fight. We had two more chances after reducing the difference between the scores. Unfortunately, we could not use it. I don't think we could have done more than it with 10 players.

There were many stronger teams in the group than us. Even Luxembourg, which we lost against today, is better than us. Leading a national team is not an easy work. Maybe someone doubts my coaching knowledge and intelligence. But I am confident. I know that I did my best here. It's just that there are certain problems. We do not have the opportunity to play together for a long time ".

Luc Holtz (Luxembourg national team head coach): “Azerbaijan national team did not surprise us. We played against this opponent 2 months ago. We know this team well. There are good quality players in the squad. I am not satisfied with the performance of the team. We did not play well, especially from the red card to the first goal”.
