Elchin Mammadov, Deputy General Secretary of AFFA, visited Tbilisi, Georgia, on August 8–9 in his capacity as an UEFA match director.
During his visit, Mammadov, delegated by UEFA, inspected the Mikheil Meskhi Stadium, the home ground of FC Iberia, the club that won the Georgian championship last season. The primary objective was to assess the stadium's readiness to host matches for the league phase of UEFA club competitions during the 2026/2027 season.
