The Futsal Tournament in the southern region to be organized as part of the Football Lessons in Schools Project and to hold in our country within the UEFA HatTrick Programme, has completed.
10 educational institutions under the Lankaran-Astara Regional Education Department competed in the tournament. More than 100 pupils (girls and boys) participated in the competition organized in the gym of Shilavar village secondary school in Lankaran city. The team of secondary school No. 7 beat all the opponents in the final game of the tournament, raised the trophy. The teams of Kanarmesha village secondary school and secondary school No. 5 took second and third places in the tournament, respectively.
AFFA presented the winning team with a trophy, medals and gift balls, medals to the teams taking 2nd and 3rd place, and diplomas to all students participating in the tournament. Players who particularly distinguished themselves in the tournament were presented with awards in the relevant nominations.
The awards were presented by the head of AFFA Grassroots Department, Farrukh Ismayilov, specialists Orkhan Mikayilli and Ziya Safarov, as well the President of the Southern Regional Football Federation, Sakin Mammadzada.
