Head coach of Azerbaijan Women's Under-19 team, Habib Aghayev, shared his views with the AFFA press service about the training camp in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. He also assessed the control matches against the local team:
“We had a successful training camp. All conditions were created for the planned training sessions to be carried out at a high level. Both games were very useful for us. The team prepared well physically and tactically. The most important thing was the adaptation of the new players to the team. The camp was very useful in terms of seeing how they reacted to the new tactics in trainings. Of course, there are points that we need to work on. This camp also provided an opportunity to eliminate those shortcomings.”
Note that Azerbaijan Women's Under-19 team won 2-0 over Moldova in both control matches.
