The FIFA Plenary Council is being held in Doha, the capital of Qatar. AFFA Vice-President and Executive Committee member Konul Mehdiyeva attends the Council and Committee meetings as a member of the FIFA Women's Football Development Committee.
The first meeting was introductory and dedicated to defining goals, agreeing on work procedures and other organizational issues.
The meeting provided various recommendations and discussions on the development of women's football, the implementation and further advancement of FIFA Women’s Football projects and programmes in various regions.
