The 2022/2023 AFFA U-15 League was completed with the final match Sabah FC vs Neftchi FC held at ASCO Arena today.
Sabah FC defeated its opponent 1:0 in the final and became the winner of the AFFA U-15 League. In the game for the third place Zira FC won 6:0 against Araz Nakhchivan. An awarding ceremony was held after the final match. Medals and diplomas were awarded to the first three place winners, and a cup was awarded to the champion Sabah FC. A member of the AFFA Coaches Committee Yashar Vahabzade, Head of the Grassroots Department Farrukh Ismayilov, Head coach of the U-15, U-16 national teams Ilham Yadullayev, and Head of the Youth Competitions Department Yusif Valiyev presented the awards. Islam Hasanov, a member of Sabah FC, was the top scorer of the league with his 76 goals. Elvin Valiyev, a member of the Neftchi FC, was selected as the best player of the AFFA U-15 League and was awarded with a special gift.
