The Azerbaijan Football Federations Association (AFFA) has held the presentation ceremony for match.affa.az, a website that brings together information about football competitions organised by AFFA in a single platform.
The main aim of the platform is to improve access to information about competitions in children’s, youth, women’s football and futsal, as well as to increase the football community’s interest in these competitions.
The event was attended by AFFA Secretary General Cahangir Farajullayev, AFFA officials, representatives of the football community and media representatives.
In his opening remarks, Cahangir Farajullayev emphasised that the development of children’s football has always been a key priority for AFFA.
This was followed by the official presentation of the match.affa.az platform and the @affa.istedadlar social media channels.
The website will feature fixtures and results from the AFFA Youth League, U-17, U-16, U-15 and other lower age-group leagues, as well as league tables, player statistics, team line-ups and key match events. Users will also be able to access club pages, player profiles and the Teams of the Week.
The new platform will help bring competitions in younger age groups to a wider audience, make young players’ performances more accessible and provide a central source of information about local football.
At the end of the event, AFFA Secretary General Cahangir Farajullayev presented gifts to Khazar Nagizada (Neftchi U-19) and Omar Mammadov (Kapaz U-17), who were included in the symbolic teams.
