Head Coach of Azerbaijan Under 21 team Samir Aliyev shared his thoughts after the Azerbaijan vs Luxembourg match held within the UEFA Under 21 Championship Qualifying round at Azersun Arena today.
“It was a difficult and hard game. We analyzed the opponent before the match. This team defeated Northern Ireland in the away match. The players were excited in the first 20 minutes. Luxembourg took the initiative. Nevertheless, we scored a goal. After the goal we conceded in the 45th minute, it was a bit difficult to prepare the players for the second half. In the second half, we played better, created situations for scoring goals and won the match”.
