An awarding ceremony was held after the XXXVI tour last match Araz-Nakhchivan vs FC Qarabag (2:2) to be held at Azersun Arena. First, a special gift was presented to Osman Karakus, the Chief Executive Officer of Misli OJSC, sponsor of Azerbaijan championship.
Then, FC Qarabag, the winner of the season, was awarded with gold medals and a trophy. Striker of FC Qarabag Olavio Juninho was awarded a special award as a top-scorer of the season with 20 goals.
AFFA President Rovshan Najaf, Executive Vice-President Sarkhan Hajiyev, technical and sports Director of Professional Football League Elgiz Abbasov took part in the awarding ceremony.
At the end of the ceremony, AFFA President Rovshan Najaf presented the championship trophy to FC Qarabag.
