Azerbaijan Under-19 team played the last match within UEFA Under-19 Championship qualifying round. Azerbaijan in Group 13 faced Malta.
The hosts opened the score in the second half of the match at the Centenary Stadium in Ta Qali. However, Azerbaijan U-19 team managed to make a comeback. Thanks to goals scored by Nadir Orujov in the 60th minute and Shahismail Jafarov in the 80th minute, Elkhan Abdullayev's team won the match 2-1.
So, Azerbaijan Under-19 team finished third in Group with three points.
