Farid Mansurov

Mansurov Farid Salman was born on May 10, 1982, in Dmanisi, Georgia. 
In 1999 he graduated from high school No.136 named after R.M. Sadigov.
He received his Bachelor's degree at Tafakkur University from 1999 to 2003 and a Master's Degree at the Azerbaijan State Physical Education and Sports Academy from 2004 to 2006. He also got a Master's degree from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics in 2007 as a second higher education and a Bachelor's degree from Baku State University in 2008.
From 2001 to 2002 and from 2004 to 2005 he worked as an athlete - instructor in Greco-Roman wrestling at Neftchi SHC, from 2005 to 2008 as an inspector in the statistics section of Shirvan City Customs Office, from 2008 to 2016 he worked in the Research and Investigation Departments of the Tax Crime Primary Investigation Office under the Ministry of Taxes.
He is Head of the Sports Department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan from September 8, 2016.
During 2010-2011 he worked as a head coach of the Greco-Roman national team.
He was Vice President of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation during 2011-2016.
In 1997, he won a silver medal at the Junior World Championships in Maribor, Slovenia.
In 2001, he won the World Youth Championship in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
In 2002 he won a silver medal at the adult World Championship in Moscow, Russia.
He was the winner of the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece.
In 2007 he won a gold medal at the World Championship in Baku.
He was a winner of the 2009 World Championship held in Herning, Denmark, and many international Grand Prix competitions.
He was awarded the order of "Glory" and the "Progress" medal.
He is the "Master of Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan".
