Azerbaijan faced St Lucia in Sumgayit. The match at Sumgayit city stadium named after Mehdi Huseynzada ended for Aykhan Abbasov's team 6-1. The goals for Azerbaijan were scored by Emin Mahmudov, Rahim Sadikhov, Musa Gurbanli, Toral Bayramov, Vusal Isgandarli and Rustam Ahmadzada.
Note that Azerbaijan national team will play the next match within the tournament on March 30 against Sierra Leone.
