A football event for children was organized within the campaign dedicated to November 20 - the World Children's Rights Day.

Jointly implemented by the representation of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Azerbaijan, the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Science and Education, the State Committee on Family, Women and Children's Problems and the "Regional Development" Public Union - November 20 - as part of the campaign dedicated to the World Children's Rights Day, a football event was held for children belonging to the vulnerable population group with the slogan "We play for our rights". The head of the Grassroots Football Department, veteran football player Farrukh Ismayilov, manager of football and social responsibility Kifayat Mustafayeva, members of the "Neftchi" football club Agil Mammadov, Rahman Hajiyev, veteran football player Vagif Javadov and the host musician Vugar Bakhtiyar participated at the event held in cooperation with the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan (AFFA).
First, a tour of the stadium was organized for children aged 11-13 who visited the Baku Olympic Stadium, and veteran football players answered the children's questions. As part of the tour, a meeting with Rashad Sadigov, the head coach of "Zira" FC, was organized for the children, and a commemorative photo was taken.
In the end, the children were presented with gift packages and balls by the "Regional Development" Public Union and the Association of Azerbaijan Football Federations.
Let's note that the campaign aims to promote children's rights, to carry out educational work with various contents in this direction, and at the same time to contribute to the increase of children's knowledge and skills, and their personal development.
