The winners of U-15 and U-16 Leagues organized by AFFA were awarded. Members of Coaching Committee Aghasalim Mirjavadov, Shakir Garibov and All-Union referee Rustam Rahimov presented the awards.
At the awards ceremony at AFFA Headquarters, the winner of U-15 League, “Sabah”, was first presented with a trophy, medals and diplomas. The members of the team “Sumgayit” finished second were awarded diplomas and medals. The bronze medalist of U-15 League, “Gabala”, will be awarded today at Gabala City Stadium. Note that the top-scorer of AFFA U-15 League season 2021/2022 was Omar Karimov, a member of “Gabala”, with 24 goals, and the best player was Babamirza Mehdiyev, a player of “Sabah”.
Afterwards, awards were presented to the teams that took the first three places of AFFA U-16 League. “Qarabag” 3rd, “Neftchi” 2nd, winner of U-16 League “Sabah” team was awarded with a trophy as a champion team and diplomas and medals. In addition, Farid Shahhuseynli, a member of “Neftchi” SC PU team with 40 goals, was named the top-scorer, and Ashraf Alakbarli, a member of ROFM, was named the best player of AFFA U-16 League and special awards were given them.
