The winners of the 2025/2026 AFFA U-17 League were awarded.
The event at Neftchi Football Center was preceded by the last round match. In the last match of Group A round 14, the teams “Neftchi” and “Sabah” played a draw game 0-0. Both teams finished the season with 30 points. “Neftchi”, which surpassed the opponent in overall indicators, finished the season as champions. “Sabah” finished second, and “Qarabag” third.
After the matches, an award ceremony took place. “Qarabag”, which took 3rd place in the championship, were awarded bronze medals, and “Sabah”, which finished second were awarded silver medals. Champion “Neftchi” were presented with gold medals and a trophy.
The winners in individual nominations were also announced. “Qarabag” player Riad Garadaghly, who scored 24 goals, won the award for top scorer. Based on a survey conducted among the teams participating in the league and the opinion of the head coach of the Under-17 national team, another member of “Qarabag” Ali Bashirov was chosen as the best player of the season.
In addition, Adem Atazada ("Vatan") in the U-10 League, Tunjay Shukurlu ("Khan") in the U-11 League, and Galib Aghayev ("Agsu City") in the U-12 League were awarded the Fair Play Award.
The awards were presented by AFFA Deputy Secretary General Elchin Mammadov and Head of AFFA Competitions Department Emin Jafarov.
