On November 19, the international football tournament "Goal U-15" dedicated to the memory of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was completed.
First, a match for the third place between the teams "Neftchi" and "Turan-Tovuz" was played in "ASCO" Arena. The winner was not determined at the main time of the match - 0:0. "Neftchi" team, which was more accurate in the penalty shootout, won with a score of 7:6 and won the bronze medal of the competition.
In the final game, "U-15 Academy" (Belarus) won against "Zira" team with a score of 5:1. Thus, the winner of the competition was the team "U-15 Academy" (Belarus). "Zira" and "Neftchi" teams were awarded the second and third places, respectively. The "Turan-Tovuz" team finished the competition in the fourth place.
Fateh Asgarzadeh ("Neftchi") was the most productive player of the tournament. The best player was Khagan Shukurov ("Zira"), and the best goalkeeper was Safi Rustam ("U-15 Academy") (Belarus).
At the end of the tournament, there was an awarding ceremony for the winners. The prizes were presented to the winners by Mariana Vasileva, deputy minister of youth and sports, as well as officials of the ministry and AFFA and well-known football players.
