Staff members of AFFA Women's Football Department visited secondary school number 262 located in Khazar district of Baku. The meeting, held at the invitation of the school administration, was met with great interest by the students.
The event was attended by the Head of AFFA Women's Football Department Zumrud Aghayeva, head coach of Azerbaijan Women's national team Siyasat Asgarov, the players of the Women’s U-17 team and the department's employees.
During the meeting, the school female pupils asked the guests various interesting questions about football. During the meeting, which took place in a sincere dialogue format, the players and the coaching staff shared their experiences with the young people and talked about important points for achieving success in sports.
Considering the high interest of female students in football, the meeting discussed their future sports career and more effective use of their free time. The issue of students' participation in official leagues held under the flag of AFFA and the Schoolgirls Tournament was brought up, and future cooperation opportunities in this direction were considered.
The school principal, Kamala Babayeva, thanked the guests for their participation and emphasized that such meetings give a great impetus to the massification of sports among girls. The principal stated that they are ready to create all possible conditions for students to engage in football in the educational institution she leads. She also emphasized that the necessary support will be provided to girls to realize their potential.
