Nigar Mirzaliyeva, a member of Azerbaijan Women's national team, shared her impressions after her transfer to the German club Hamburg.
The 23-year-old defender, who moved from the Russian club Zenit to the Bundesliga club, expressed her impressions in a statement to the AFFA press service: “I am very happy to have moved to Hamburg. I am proud to be the first Azerbaijani female player to play in the Bundesliga. Hamburg is a club with a rich history. I will try to perform well here and represent our country more successfully. My goals are big. I believe I will achieve great success.”
Nigar Mirzaliyeva signed a 2.5-year contract with Hamburg.
