Siyasat Asgarov, head coach of Azerbaijan Women's national football team, expressed his thoughts to AFFA press service before the away match against Andorra to be played within the FIFA World Cup European qualifiers:
“Tomorrow we will play a very important match. We will face Andorra twice in a row. Now we are only thinking about the away match. The matches with Andorra are of great importance to secure a better position in the group. We had a five-day training camp in Spain; we prepared well for the match. The players are also very enthusiastic; they understand the importance of the match. We have shared all the information about the opponent with them. The team is fully prepared for the match. Our goal is to win both matches against Andorra.”
Note that the match Andorra vs Azerbaijan will take place on April 14 at the National Stadium in Andorra la Vella within the Group C3 of League C and kick off at 21:00 Baku time.
