The winner of the Region League was announced (photos)

"Shimal" and "Hypers" teams met in the final game held at the Shamakhi city stadium.
120 minutes of the meeting ended with a score of 1:1. Mahammad Aliyev scored in the 16th minute for "Hypers", while Rauf Mammadov scored in the 74th minute for "Shimal".
"Shimal" team won the penalty shootout with a score of 3:1 and became the champion. The team will represent Azerbaijan in the UEFA Region Cup next season.
An award ceremony was organized after the game. The player of Mubariz Football Academy, Jafar Shahmammadov  scored 38 goals and won the top scorer award. Anar Agayev from the "Hypers" team was awarded the title of the best player of the season in the Region League.
Finally, "Hypers" was awarded with a silver medal, and "Shimal" with a gold medal and a trophy. AFFA Executive Vice President Sarkhan Hajiyev and Regional Football Federation President Isgender Javadov presented the awards to the teams.
