Aykhan Abbasov: “The training camp is going according to plan. For us, the most important thing was to see the players. This is very important before the upcoming Nations League. There could be no better opportunity than this. Although we played the match against Malta mainly in attack, this does not satisfy us. We need to bring the attacks to a logical conclusion. I must note the lack of game practice of some players. Although there was a lot of desire, there was little game experience. If we want to achieve a successful result in the Nations League, we must take advantage of every episode there. We will play with a completely different squad in the match against San Marino. We believe that we will win tomorrow”.
Jalal Huseynov: “It is a bit difficult for the players to have a training camp after the season. Despite this, there is a good atmosphere in the camp. Our goal is to successfully prepare for the Nations League. Our performance in training is also good. We want to win the game we will play tomorrow. We will do our best until the end”.
