The AFFA Executive Committee meeting was held at Baku Olympic Stadium today. The below decisions were made after the discussions:
- To assign Gurban Gurbanov to the Azerbaijan national team’s head coach position. He will start to work with the national team immediately after the expiration of Robert Prosinecki’s contract. Gurban Gurbanov will continue his head coach work in “Qarabag” club simultaneously.
- To confirm starting the action of the Rehabilitation Center within AFFA.
General Secretary Elkhan Mammadov demonstrated presentation about what the national teams do to qualify for the Euro-2020 finals, and also Azerbaijan national teams’ chief medical officer Vyacheslav Khomenko presented the Rehabilitation Center within AFFA.
