The winner of the season 2024/2025 of AFFA Regions League has been known.
The final match was held at Gabala city stadium between “Shirvan” and “Khankendi”.
“Khankendi” won 3-0 the final and became the champion and qualified for the League II. The team will represent Azerbaijan in the UEFA Regions’ Cup next season. “Shirvan” will play a play-off match to qualify for the League II.
In the third place match the “Agstafa Genjleri” defeated the “Goyazan” 5-2 and won bronze medals.
An award ceremony was organized after the matches. Javid Najizada, a player from “Shirvan” OIK, received the top scorer award with 20 goals. Sarkhan Aghayev from the “Khankendi” was awarded the title of best player of the season.
Finally, “Aghstafa Genjleri” was awarded bronze medals, “Shirvan” silver medals, and “Khankendi” gold medals and a trophy. The teams were presented with awards by AFFA Executive Vice President Sarkhan Hajiyev, President of the Regional Football Federation Isgander Javadov, and Director of the national A-team Ilgar Gurbanov.
