Azerbaijan Beach Soccer team played the last match within the UEFA Beach Soccer League first qualifying round (EBSL).
Azerbaijan in League B Group A played against Lithuania in the third match. The match held in El Puerto de Santa Maria, Spain, ended for the opponents 4-3. All three goals for Azerbaijan were scored by Orkhan Mammadov.
Thus, Sahib Mammadov's team finished second in their Group with 5 points and qualified for the European Superfinal. Azerbaijan Beach Soccer team will compete in the Superfinal to be held in Italy on September 7-14. The teams that will take the first two places in the competition, which will be held with the participation of 8 teams, will advance to League A.
Note that Azerbaijan defeated England 5-4 and Belgium 11-2 in the first two matches of the group.
