We bring to your attention the opinions expressed by the head coaches of both national teams after today's match between the Czech Republic and Azerbaijan in the qualifying round of the European Women's Championship in Khomutov city:
Siyasat Asgarov (Head coach of Azerbaijan national team): “We played against two opponents of about the same strength. Playing against such teams requires physical strength. We started training a month before the games due to pandemic. It is very difficult to attack in games with such opponents. Because the opponent did not allow us to play. In such games you need to demonstrate character. Despite losing both games, my team showed character.”
Karel Rada (Head coach of the Czech national team): “Of course, winning this game was very important for us. We had a chance to score more goals in the first half. We created several opportunities after the break. We made unnecessary mistakes during the game. We had to be calmer and make the most of the opportunities we created.”
