Another event on “Let's develop sports in villages” project was jointly organized by AFFA and Gadabay District Executive Power in the villages of the region.
This project is a step towards the implementation of the recommendations made by President Ilham Aliyev during a meeting with athletes at the National Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan on December 29, 2019 on the development of sports in rural areas.
Within the framework of the project, 50 schoolchildren in Novosaratovka, Novoivanovka, Shinikh and Miskinli villages of the region were given sportswear and football balls to increase their interest in football.
AFFA Vice President, President of the Azerbaijan Children and Youth Football Federation, MP Rauf Aliyev, Gadabay Executive Power Head Ibrahim Mustafayev, MP Sevinj Suleymanova, Arzu Nagkiyev and Sabir Hajiyev and other officials took part in the event.
