Neftchi played its first leg game within the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round.
Neftci won the match against the champion of Georgia Dinamo (Tbilisi) in 2:1 at Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi. The goals were scored for Neftchi in the 23rd minute by Namik Alaskarov, and in the 57th minute from penalty kick by Emin Mahmudov.
The second leg match between these teams will take place at Bakcell Arena at 21:00 on July 14.
