The opening ceremony of the football pitch built at the secondary school No. 138 within the FIFA Arena Project was held. The event was attended by Head of AFFA Grassroots Department, former football player Farrukh Ismayilov, AFFA officials as well as the school’s teaching and student staff.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the event, Farrukh Ismayilov spoke about the importance of the Project and wished the participants success in the new academic year.
Note that AFFA is among the first 11 countries in the world to complete the FIFA Arena Project. The national association has previously built a pitch on the territory of secondary school No. 247 within the Project, and more than 6,000 students will directly benefit from this Project.
