The draw ceremony for the preliminary round of the UEFA European Women's Under-17 Championship, which Finals would be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2022, was held today in Nyon, Switzerland. Azerbaijan is in the League B together with the teams from Albania and Montenegro in a group of three teams. The matches of this group will be held in Albania.
According to the decision of the UEFA Executive Committee, the preliminary round matches will be held in the format of the Nations League. The six group winners plus best runner-up would promote from League B to A. The Round 2 draw will be held in late 2021. In Round 2 the seven League A winners will qualify for the finals.
