The information on the work done to develop football in Azerbaijan, including increasing the popularity of football, developing children's football, and infrastructure projects implemented in this direction were provided at the meeting. Issues of cooperation between AFFA and FIFA in various areas were also reviewed.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on preparations for the FIFA U-20 Men's World Cup Finals, to be co-hosted by Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in 2027, and other issues of mutual interest.
