"Spring Tournament" was held in Gabala (photos)

In the tournament 8 teams competed in two groups. The top two teams in the group met in the playoffs. Secondary school No. 5 became the winner of the tournament, while the secondary school of Bum village and secondary school No. 1 took II and III places, respectively. Maryam Shukurova, a student of the secondary school in the village of Bum, became the most productive player of the tournament with 6 goals. The best player was the student of secondary school No. 5 Khadija Heydarli, and the best goalkeeper of the tournament was the student of secondary school No. 1 Sevinj Karimova. The teams that took the first three places were awarded diplomas and medals, and the winning team was awarded a cup. The awards were presented by the head of the AFFA women's football department Amina Hasanova, the head coach of the U-17 team (women) Nargiz Gurbanova, the head coach of the U-15 team (women) Khanlar Aliyev and the assistant head coach of the U-19 team (women) Gulanbar Gasimova.

It should be noted that the main goal of the project is to attract new players to the U-12 women's league and to the national junior teams in the future. The participating teams were provided with sportswear and equipment from AFFA and UEFA.
