The AFFA Executive Committee held its next video conferencing meeting today. The following decisions were reached after the discussions during the meeting:
1. To start implementation of relevant legal procedures in accordance with the tender documents on the application of the VAR (video assistant referee) system in the Azerbaijan Premier League and to intend to apply the VAR system after the winter break of the 2021/2022 season.
2. To apply the Professional Referee System for the Azerbaijani Premier League referees from September 1, 2021(Additional information about Professional Referee System will be published).
3. To approve “Club Licensing Regulations” for the 2022/2023 season.
4. To assign the position of the Disciplinary Committee Inspector to Namig Aliyev.
5. To continue providing financial support to clubs for the 2021/2022 season by AFFA in accordance with the appeal of Premier League clubs, and taking into account the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. To determine the amount of the financial support after negotiations between AFFA and the clubs.
