AFFA is conducting training to expand the scope of UEFA license coaching courses and prepare new coach instructors.
The main goal of the training, which began on June 10 and will continue until June 13, is to identify potential coach instructors who can be involved in teaching UEFA licensed coaching courses, and to develop their teaching, facilitation, practical training, feedback and evaluation skills.
Further strengthening of AFFA coaching education system, increasing the potential of coaches at various levels and supporting personnel training in new areas where needed are among the main priorities. It is aimed to increase the number of coach instructors by 2026.
Coaches from the regions have also been involved in the training. This will create conditions for UEFA licensed coaching courses to be more accessible in the regions in the future, increasing the potential of local coaches and covering a wider geography of educational programs aimed at developing the mass of football.
Within the framework of the training, participants develop their knowledge and skills on topics such as modern approaches in coach education, organization of practical exercises, participant evaluation, effective communication, and constructive feedback.
