Azerbaijan Under-21 team played the first match within the UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifying round.
Azerbaijan in Group B met with the Youth team of Portugal. The match was played at Barcelos city stadium and ended for the hosts 5-0.
Note that Azerbaijani Under-21 team will play the second match in the group on September 9, against Bulgaria in Baku.
