The 2018/2019 AFFA Regional League was completed. Shahdag (Gusar) and Ughur (Sumgayit) met in the final game at ASCO Arena today. Ughur beat the opponent in 2:0 and became the winner of the Regional League the second consecutive time.
An awarding ceremony was held after the match. Awards were presented by Iskandar Javadov, the Regional Football Federations Public Union President, a member of AFFA Executive Committee; Vagif Sadigov, chairman of Coaches Committee, a member of Executive Committee; and Nikola Jurcevic, head coach of Azerbaijan A-national team. Vugar Nadirov was awarded as the best player of the 2018/2019 Regional League.
