Below are the opinions expressed by the head coach of our team, Samir Aliyev after the international friendly match between the national U-21 teams of Azerbaijan and Latvia which was played at "Dalga Arena" today:
"We had the opportunity to test the players we invited to the official squad before the match. We used 11 substitutions, including the goalkeeper. It is true that we made some of them out of necessity, because they were injured shortly after entering the field. We will have accurate information about their condition tomorrow. In any case, they will all go with us to Spain. Coming to the match with Ukraine, we will play completely differently. The leader of the opponent group is a team that scored 3 goals against a team like England. We also chose the 5 defense system according to Ukraine."
