Samir Aliyev, head coach of our national team, spoke to affa.az website after the Turkey U-23-Azerbaijan U-23 match held today in the semi-final stage of the V Islamic Solidarity Games:
"We struggled against a strong opponent. The Turkish national team is one of the main favorites of the tournament. The game also demonstrated that they are a better and more prepared team than us. Nevertheless, my players struggled until the end, tried to do their best. Unfortunately, we lost with a minimal score."
