Neftchi and Sabail played their first leg games within the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round.
Neftchi won the match in 3:0 against Speranta Nisporeni in Chisinau. Emin Mahmudov carried out a penalty shootout accurately. The other goals were scored by Steven Monroz and Rahman Hajiyev.
Sabail met Universitatea Craiova FC of Romania at ASCO Arena and lost the game in 2:3. Aghabala Ramazanov scored a double for Sabail.
The second leg matches between these teams will be held on July 18.
