The badges and certificates for 2026 were presented to FIFA referees in AFFA Headquarters.
AFFA Secretary General Jahangir Farajullayev, Deputy Secretary General Elchin Mammadov, Chairman of AFFA Referees Committee Rahim Hasanov and Head of AFFA Referees Department Bahruz Teymurov attended the event.
Jahangir Farajullayev handed the certificates and badges to the referees and congratulated them on this occasion. He expressed his belief that Azerbaijani referees will represent the country in the international arena with dignity and wished them success in their future activities.
Bahruz Teymurov made a presentation on the new bonus program for referees. He provided detailed information on the implementation mechanism of the program approved by AFFA Executive Committee.
It was noted that the bonus program is built on two main principles - sustainability and collective responsibility. The new system will serve to increase professionalism in the activities of referees, stimulate performance and achieve more successful results. At the end of the event, they answered the questions from referees and exchanged the views on the implementation of the program.
