Kifayat Mustafayeva, coordinator of PlayMakers Project operating in our country with the support of UEFA and the organization of AFFA, and trainer Gulyana Ozcan participated in the conference held in Nyon, Switzerland.
AFFA staff members took part in group work and training processes at the conference organized by UEFA under the name PlayMakers on the creative and game-based development of girls from an early age, and the development of leadership, self-confidence and social skills through the game of football.
The project, organized for girls aged 5-8, was launched in Azerbaijan in 2023 and covers 24 centers. As a result of the project, five girls teams will be involved in AFFA U-12 Girls League as well one girls team will be involved in AFFA U-14 Girls League in the season 2025/2026.
The main goal of the Project is to strengthen the values of gender equality in society from an early age by encouraging the active participation of girls in games and creative activities from an early age and to support the development of talented girls as professional players, coaches and leaders in the future.
