A seminar for futsal referees and referee observers was held in Baku with the organization of AFFA and the support of UEFA.
The three-day seminar was led by UEFA futsal expert and instructor Perry Gautier. Mr. Gautier conducted theoretical and practical classes for the participants, introducing the latest changes in the rules of the game, modern refereeing principles and methods of analyzing episodes.
The event was attended by leading and young futsal referees from different regions of the country, as well referee observers who evaluated their activities. The main goal of organizing the seminar was to contribute to the development of Azerbaijani futsal refereeing in accordance with international standards and to strengthen cooperation with UEFA.
Perry Gautier noted the high interest and activity of the participants and expressed his belief that the seminar will play an important role in raising the level of refereeing in futsal in Azerbaijan.
AFFA staff members expressed their gratitude to UEFA and Perry Gautier for the support provided, emphasizing that the continuous holding of such trainings plays an important role in the development of futsal refereeing.
