An educational seminar was held for the members of the Azerbaijani national U-19 team who are in Luxembourg in order to participate in the qualifying round of the European Championship,
UEFA's representative for Azerbaijan on match-fixing Seymur Salimli gave a lecture on the topics of "What should we know about match-fixing?" and "Our goal is to protect you and our football" and he demonstrated educational and reporting presentations in the seminar organized in Luxembourg, in the meeting hall of "Park Hotel". In the seminar, very important issues regarding the struggle against "match-fixing" were discussed and experience was exchanged. Local and international examples of fixed matches were presented to the participants of the seminar. The participants of the seminar were informed about the Convention on the Manipulation of Sports Competitions, a number of additions and changes to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Physical Education and Sports, as well as the additions and changes made to the Disciplinary Code of the Disciplinary Committee.
