A mini-football tournament among schoolchildren was organized in Ganja

The mini-football tournament among schoolchildren in Ganja jointly organized by AFFA and the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the support of UEFA, has completed.
A mini-football tournament among schoolchildren was organized in Ganja
The main goal of the competition, organized within the framework of the Football Lesson in Schools Project, was to promote a healthy lifestyle among schoolchildren, further increase the popularity of football and students' interest in sports. The final stage of the tournament took place on the mini-football field located in Ganja. In the final match, the team of secondary school No. 21 defeated the team of the Foreign Languages ​​​​Focused Gymnasium and became the champion.
The winning team was presented with a trophy and gold medals. The teams that took second and third places were awarded silver and bronze medals, respectively. In addition, players who distinguished themselves during the tournament received special awards in various nominations.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Head of AFFA Grassroots Football Department Farrukh Ismayilov emphasized the importance of the project in terms of developing football among schoolchildren and attracting children to sports.
Note that the Football Lessons in Schools Project is being implemented in various regions of the country with the support of UEFA, and the project aims to encourage students to participate more actively in football activities, as well as develop their social skills through sports.
