A delegation led by AFFA Secretary General Jahangir Farajullayev met with the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Ombudsman) Sabina Aliyeva.
During the meeting, the Ombudsman provided detailed information on the work carried out to protect human rights and freedoms. The Commissioner noted that every year, May 18 - June 18 are traditionally declared Human Rights Month in our country, and a series of legal awareness events are organized.
Sabina Aliyeva emphasized the importance of ensuring healthy, proper physical development of children and youth, and involving them in sports, especially football.
AFFA Secretary General Jahangir Farajullayev, in turn, provided information on the activities of the association, projects implemented in the direction of football development in the country, and achievements.
The meeting also highlighted the work done within the framework of cooperation between the Ombudsman Institution and AFFA and exchanged views on joint projects and initiatives planned for implementation in the future.
