Gunay Zamanli, head of AFFA Legal Department and a member of the UEFA Legal Committee, attended the ordinary meeting of the Legal Committee held at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
During the meeting they reviewed the proposed changes to UEFA relevant regulatory legal documents, discussed recent decisions of the European Court of Justice and the progress of ongoing legal processes. In addition, updates on cases pending before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the implementation status of the action plan arising from the previous meeting of the Legal Committee, and other organizational issues were included in the agenda.
During the meeting, extensive discussions were held on the changes observed in the legal environment of European football, implementation prospects, and current trends.
