Araz-Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan’s representative in the UEFA Futsal Champions League, has reached the last match in the main stage. The national champion of Azerbaijan in Group 7 played against Tigers Roermond (Netherland) in the third match.
The match at Dunarea Sports Palace in Galati ended for Araz-Nakhchivan 3-2. Valerio scored goals in the 11th and 40th minutes while Jean Perruzzo in the 30th minute.
Having won 2-1 over United Galati (Romania) in the first two games and drawn (2-2) against Differdange from Luxembourg, Araz-Nakhchivan qualified for the 1/8 finals as the top team in the group.
The draw for this stage will be held on November 6, and the games will be played on November 24 and December 5.
