Azerbaijan Women's national football team played the third match within the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup European qualifiers.
Azerbaijan in Group C3 of League C faced Andorra. The match at the National Stadium in Andorra la Vella ended for Siyasat Askerov's team 3-1. The goals for Azerbaijan national team were scored by captain Sevinj Jafarzada in the 15th and 50th (penalty) minutes, and Esra Manya in the 90+5th minute.
In the other match of the group, Hungary defeated North Macedonia 5-0 in the away match.
After these results, Hungary is in first place with 7 points, Azerbaijan is in second place with 6 points, North Macedonia is in third place with 3 points, and Andorra is in fourth place with 1 point.
Note that Azerbaijan and Andorra will meet at Bank Respublika Arena in Baku on April 18.
