Araz-Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan's representative in the UEFA Futsal Champions League, played their first game in the preliminary stage.
As the champions of Azerbaijan and being in Group H, they played their first match against the Sparta Belfast team from Northern Ireland. The match took place at the Agnebergshallen Hall in Uddevalla, Sweden, where Araz-Nakhchivan secured a significant 7-1 victory. Giovanni Valerio (2:06, 19:33, 20:32), Kanan Manafov (21:01), Yanich Aleksandar (26:54), Amadeu (32:18), and Emil Hasanzade (39:16) were the goal scorers for Araz-Nakhchivan.
It's important to note that Araz-Nakhchivan's next match will be against Estonia's team Sillamae Silla on August 22. The match will also take place at the Agnebergshallen Hall and will kick off at 18:00 local time in Baku.
