The D License coaching courses, jointly organized by AFFA and the Baku Football Federation at Bayil Stadium, continue.
The second day of the course was marked by theoretical and practical sessions. AFFA Coaching Course Instructor Ilham Azizzada and Head of AFFA Grassroots Football Department Farrukh Ismayilov gave extensive presentations to the participants on Basic Principles of Grassroots Football, Coaching Methods, Coaching Behaviors, as well as the pedagogical approach when working with children and adolescents, planning the training process and the stages of player development.
During the sessions, the application of modern training methodology, the establishment of training models appropriate for age groups, safety rules and motivation methods were explained based on practical examples. The instructors conducted analyses on real game situations, organized interactive discussions with the participants, and exchanged views from various perspectives.
The practical part focused on preparing a training plan, proper positioning on the pitch, explaining tasks, and the coach's communication skills. Participants had the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge on the pitch by completing tasks in groups.
