The D License coaching courses were organized by AFFA at Neftchala Olympic Sports Complex within the UEFA HatTrick Programme.
25 physical education teachers from secondary schools operating in Neftchala region were involved in the course. The main goal of the event was to increase the knowledge and skills of the participants in the field of grassroots football, and to promote the application of modern approaches when working with children and adolescents. On the opening day of the course, the head of AFFA Grassroots Football Department, Farrukh Ismayilov, and the department’s leading specialist Orkhan Mikayilly met with the participants, provided detailed information about the content and goals of the program, and wished them success.
The classes were conducted by AFFA's coaching course instructors Ilham Azizzada and Farrukh Ismayilov. The course provided theoretical knowledge on Basic principles of grassroots football, Coaching methods, Coaches behavior and other relevant topics. The sessions were accompanied by interactive discussions, allowing for a comparative analysis of different approaches.
The second day was organized as a combination of theoretical and practical parts, with participants actively participating in on-field training sessions and directly applying the methodologies presented by the trainers.
At the end of the course, the participants were issued with appropriate licenses. The licenses were presented to the participants by Farrukh Ismayilov and Ilham Azizzada.
Note that such initiatives are of great importance in terms of increasing the popularity of football in the regions, as well as contributing to the development of football in schools.
